Deborah Lynn (Swiderski) Letak Tuesday, June 11, 1957 - Friday, July 19, 2019 Deborah Letak (Debbie), 62, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, N.C. Debbie was born on Tuesday, June 11, 1957 at Highsmith-Rainey Hospital in Fayetteville, NC to Esther (McCorquodale) Swiderski and Ryszard Swiderski.

Although she lived for a few years in Germany, California and Texas, she called Fayetteville, North Carolina home for the last 40 years. Debbie was a caretaker of children all of her life. She cared primarily for “her babies,” her nieces and nephews. She loved, nurtured and cared for as her own, from their infancy all the way through high school, and was “Aunt Deb” to all of them. Raising her own daughter, Elona (who she lovingly called “my Punkin”), her granddaughter Cassie (“my Cassie”), and her nieces and nephews was Debbie’s life’s most precious accomplishment. It was her career and her legacy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved older brother, Phillip, and her father, Ryszard.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Esther Swiderski, husband Rick Letak, her daughter Elona Woodle, beloved granddaughter Cassie, brothers Ricky, Michael and David Swiderski and sister Angela Cunningham.

Her family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, July 23 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Home on Ramsey Street in Fayetteville.

Debbie will be cremated and there will be no graveside service.

All family and friends who wish to say farewell to Debbie are asked to join us on Tuesday evening at the visitation service.
