Dale Arthur Dutcher Sr.
Dale Arthur Dutcher, Sr., age 87, a resident of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on September 18, 1925, in Columbus, OH, to the late Artie Dutcher and Ada Hard Dutcher.
He was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran. He was also a member of Hay Street United Methodist Church, and retired from Sears and Roebuck with 40 years of service. He was a member of Phoenix Masonic Lodge #8 in Fayetteville, NC.
He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Lewis Dutcher.
He is survived by two sons Dale Arthur Dutcher, Jr., and his wife Lauren, of Cary, NC and Darryl Dutcher, and his wife Denise, of Fayetteville, NC; one granddaughter Dianna Dutcher, of Morrisville, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service Chapel . Interment will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery with Masonic Burial Rites.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Cape Fear Valley Medical Heart Center 1638 Owen Drive Fayetteville, NC, 28304.
