Charlotte R. Mason

Charlotte R. Mason, 87, of Fayetteville passed away on April 13, 2025.

She was born in Fayetteville, NC on June 5, 1937. Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, John Mason.

Charlotte was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church where she volunteered and sang in the choir. During her free time, she enjoyed reading and crocheting. In her earlier years, Charlotte enjoyed training dogs. Later in life, she found joy in traveling during her “Midwest” trip as well as taking frequent beach trips along the North Carolina coast. Charlotte enjoyed spending as much time as she could with all her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish Charlotte’s memory are her sister, Marian Vanstory; children, Howard (Livia) and Marie Mason; grandchildren, Matthew (Lani) and Amanda Mason; great-grandchildren, Kaelyn, Levi, and Maverick, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors on April 18, 2025, from 1:30-3:15pm at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service. A graveside service will then follow at 3:30pm at Cross Creek Cemetery.
