Caroline McGrath

Caroline Rae McGrath, 82, of Fayetteville, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 4^th. 

Caroline was born on October 25^th, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Lester and Helen (Reinhold) Codney. 

Caroline joined the United States Navy in 1959 where she proudly served her country for 3 years as a nurse and surgical assistant.    Upon her honorable discharge, Caroline went on to become an RN and Lactation Consultant in Civil Service at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, VA.  She also volunteered her time with the Red Cross and Oasis Ministries and was active with her church for many, many years. 

She is predeceased by her parents, her brother, Howard Codney, son, John McGrath, and grandson, Chandon McGrath.

Left to treasure her memory are her son, Michael McGrath; daughter, Teresa Foster; sister, Ernestine York; brother, Theodore Codney; and grandchildren, Nicole Willcox, David Brown, Hillary Kidd, Kathleen Foster, Joshua McGrath, Lauren McGrath, Chelsea McGrath, Benjamin McGrath, Elijah McGrath, Jacob Aljoe, Candace Hendrix, Patrick McGrath, Noah McGrath; and several great grandchildren.
