Bill Johnson, Jr.

William “Bill” Douglas Johnson, Jr., 59, of Spring Lake, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Womack Army Medical Center.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA, on August 16, 1958, to Susan and William Johnson, Sr.

He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan who was also a college tennis player and a devoted husband and father.  He gained joy listening to “Knee Deep” by Zack Brown Band cruising the streets of Ft. Lauderdale, in his convertible, with his daughter, Polina.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; his children, Tyler, Kelsey, and Polina; his grandchildren; and his extended family.

The family will host a private celebration of life service.
