Betty Naylor Cagle

Betty Naylor Cagle, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at her home.

Betty was born in Sampson Co, NC, to the late Gilbert and Billie Honeycutt Naylor. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend to all she met. She worked as a dental assistant before beginning her career at the Post Office, from which she later retired after more than 20 years.

Betty is survived by her stepson, Gregory Cagle and wife Brenda, of Stokes, NC; three grandchildren, Brandon, Ashton, and Christopher; seven great grandchildren, Madison, Ezra, Brantley and Emory, Chloe, Grayson, and Liam; and cousin, Ron Hicks and wife Teresa and their son, Jeffrey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Cagle; two great grandchildren, Finley and Luca; niece, Lesi Kinton; and brother, Billy Franklin Naylor.

A graveside service will be held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Ft. Liberty, NC, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at noon.
