Benjamin R. “Buttons†Davis, infant, went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2015 at UNC Children’s Hospital.
He was born in Fayetteville on November 10, 2015, to Mae Davis and Chris Zimmer.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Monroe Davis, Sr.; great grandparents, John and Willie Mae Smith.
Though you were with us for a short time, you touched everyone you met. Thank you for the time we were able to share with you.
Buttons is survived by his parents, Mae Davis and Chris Zimmer of Fayetteville; sister, Katlin; brothers, Alex, Sebastian, Preston, and Tony; grandparents, Helen and Gary Kilby; numerous aunts, uncles , and cousins; and fur brother, Gage.
A funeral service officiated by Father Steve Cross is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to The Ronald McDonald House or UNC Children’s Hospital.
Services are entrusted to Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.
