Barbara Ann Piragowski,53, was reunited with her loving parents, Lt.Col. Robert R. Piragowski and Lisa Lotte Piragowski on Sunday, September 18, 2011.
She was born on November 19, 1957 in Nurenberg, Germany. Barbara suffered a traumatic brain injury when she was fourteen years old and remained in a coma for eight years.
Barbara is survived by her paternal aunt, Irene Buerhrle of Bridgewater, New Jersey and her Fayetteville family, Mildred Sullins and Loretta Taylor.
Funeral Eucharistic service will be at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church on Thursday, September 20, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. “Family†visitation Thursday morning from 10:00a.m-12:00 p.m. at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church or to your favorite charity.
Funeral services entrusted to Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service and Crematory.
