Barbara Howell Dobbins

Barbara Howell Dobbins, 85, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022.

She was born on July 12, 1936, to the late Clyde and Beulah Howell.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, James; sons, Robert Dobbins, and James Dobbins Jr.; and grandsons, Andrew Dobbins and Alex Elam.

She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church.

Left to cherish Barbara’s memory are her significant other, Edward Teal; daughters, Ginger Gregory, Rose Wood and husband Steve; son, Larry Dobbins; 6 grandchildren; 7 greatgrandchildren with one on the way; and sisters, Jane Burton and husband Harold, and Elaine Reece.

A funeral service is planned for noon on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
