Anna Bell Singleton

Anna Bell Singleton known to friends as "Bob" passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at 87 years of age.

She was born on August 30, 1930 to parents John Wesley and Marie "Singo" Locklear of Rowland, NC. She was a lifelong member of Dogwood Baptist Church in Rowland, NC.

She is survived by her children, two sons, Eric “Tutty” Ray Chavis of Eastover and Bonficio “Bones” Traje and wife Gemma of Fayetteville and a daughter, Maria Singleton and husband Keith of Fayetteville. She has 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by sons, William Thomas Chavis, Mitchell Dwight Chavis and James Wayne Chavis and daughter Mary Ann Chavis.

Visitation with family will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Dogwood Baptist Church in Rowland, NC with the Rev. Ricky Burnette, Evangelist Johnny Chavis and Pastor James Albert “Smokey” Hunt officiating.  Burial will follow in Dogwood Baptist Church Cemetery.
