Alvis Bryan Carr, Jr.

Alvis Bryan Carr, Jr., 85, of Fayetteville passed away on July 5, 2024.

Bryan was born in Goldsboro on December 22, 1938, to the late Alvis and Ester Carr. Also preceding him in death is his brother, Bob Carr and niece, Sharon Carr.

Bryan was a proud member of the Massey Hill Lions Club for over 50 years. This earned him a spot in the Lions Club Hall of Fame. He was an avid fan of the North Carolina State Wolf Pack. Bryan loved to play golf in his spare time along with spending time with his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Betty Sue Carr; children, Bryan Carr (Deborah), Beth Carr (Carolyn), Becky Ashton (Bret), and Billy Carr (Rachel); grandchildren, Riley Secrist, Noah Secrist (Jenni), Haley Ashton, Brian Ashton, Kristina Ashton, Liam Carr, and Evie Carr; great-grandchildren, Tula Secrist, Fox Secrist, Ava Secrist, Zoey Secrist, Tabitha Fox, and Toby Fox; sister-in-law, Ruth Carr; and nephew, Bill Carr.

A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, July 15, 2024, at 11am at Highland Presbyterian Church, 111 Highland Ave, Fayetteville, NC 28305.
